Product Features and Applications
Fireproof windows for high rise buildings (such as products with a fire resistance time of more than 60 minutes) have a low cost of 20 minute fire rated windows, which are suitable for projects with limited budgets. In risk classification management, the secondary fireproof thin film provides economical and effective protection. In the refuge rooms or special areas of high-rise buildings, it can be used as auxiliary escape facilities. For example, equipped with escape stairs or slow-down equipment to provide personnel with a second escape route and enhance safety.
Product details
As the framework of fire-resistant glass windows, window frames must have sufficient mechanical strength to resist deformation due to high temperatures. Steel window frames (commonly made of galvanized steel or stainless steel) and flame-retardant treated wooden window frames are common choices. They must maintain structural integrity during a fire to prevent fire-resistant glass from falling off or breaking due to window frame collapse.
